Real Estate Vancouver
Washington and Melbourne Australia
Although most residents of the United States think we live in
the best Country in the World, well it just isn't true in the minds of the rest
of the World. Usually ranking in the bottom or even below the top 10 Countries
in the World based on livability, I have started to document some of my own
research on where else I might like to live. Although not ranked #1, my search
keeps bringing me back to Australia and more specifically; Melbourne. Seemingly
a relatively moderate climate, yet a bit on the warmer side and completely the
opposite seasons to my current home in Clark
County Washington. An absolutely ideal scenario might be living in
both places!
So using the Internet, my search begins. For the first stop,
I'll see just what I can learn about a place called Sefton Grange Estate south
of Melbourne. Below are advertising quotes from Central Equity
Land in Australia along with more start up comparisons.
A unique web site for Real Estate that would make searching this a lot more fun
is Sexy Realty .com
"Your new home in beautiful
Mount Martha... Central Equity Land is pleased to announce the
release of Sefton Grange Estate, a brand new neighborhood on one of the
last major land parcels in the prestigious Melbourne seaside suburb of
Mount Martha."
"Sefton Grange has been designed to offer a stimulating place to live on
the splendid Mornington Peninsula, within close proximity to Port Philip
Bay and the seaside ambience of the local Mount Martha area. An ideal
setting only minutes from the beach, seaside cafes, schools and
convenient transport. Click for Map.
"Sefton Grange is characterized by sloping land with views across the
Balcombe Creek Valley to Briars Park, and surrounding hills. This
contemporary and vibrant community will be built around a revitalized
Harrop Creek and a new Central Park, providing a beautiful open space
for a range of activities." |

Comparing the two climates
Current Weather in Melbourne & VancouverThe seasons are opposite
each other which might make a really nice situation if you could depart
from the rainy and cool climate of the Pacific NW on November 1st.
November is usually a bad month with the rain storms & I can't think of
anything nicer than arriving in Melbourne with 71 degree day highs &
less than 1/2 the rain fall. Returning to the NW around April or May
sounds like an ideal scenario. |
